Delhi

In the point of history’s view,It has a great importance. At first the city derives its name ‘Dilli’ from Raja Dhilu, In the times of Mahabharta it’s known as Indraprastha. During the Mughal period, Mughal Emperor shah Jahan rebuilt the city and named it Shahjahanabad in the 17th century. In the year of 1911, British shifted their capital from Calcutta to Delhi and here they form another part of Delhi known as new Delhi .
